Title: MC is missing after Windows 7pro upgrade to win10 recently
Post by: dgrubb001 on August 29, 2016, 03:49:10 pm
Seeking help figuring out how to recover the  JRiver media center after an upgrade from win7 to win10. JRiver is now missing under the application list. However, the JRiver folder and all it's subfolders are still there under program files (x86). Can someone advise how to fix or at least let me know what the executable is? Maybe I can just create a shortcut to the executable. I wish I could tell you what version it is, but it is likely several years old as I have not upgraded. Please do not tell me I have to uninstall and reinstall. And try to obtain my license key again. Thanks in advance..

change your windows setting so you can see the file extension and you should be able to see the MC executable

Reinstall MC, making sure it's the version that matches your license.
