Title: Mac mini resolution drops from 1080p to 720p when connected to Marantz AV8802A

Whenever I connect my Mac mini (MGEN2XX/A) to my Marantz AV8802A processor, the resolution drops to 720p but when it is connected directly to a Full HD display it works on 1080p! Has anybody faced this issue or is there any setting that I might have missed?

I have the same behavior with my Yamaha AV-Receiver.

The App DisplayMode helps me to switch back to the correct resolution but this doesn't work automatically.
