Title: Skip + 30 seconds in an audio file?

Is it possible to skip ahead 30 seconds in an audio file by a command or a key press?

I record radio streams to mp3 format and then listen to them on my laptop (which is hooked up to my stereo) in my car for my commute to and from work. What i can't do is fiddle around with slider controls to fast forward through the commecials while im driving, but if i had the ability to skip ahead by a keypress or a remote, it would be great!

so... is this possible?

This is exactly what im looking for, except to assign the buttons to key strokes or use girder to control by remote control. and within MC of course!
