Title: Remove Dups in Playing Now
Post by: jleerigby on July 31, 2003, 09:07:48 am
I feel sure there must be a way to do this but can't figure it out.  Is there any way to set some rules for the 'Remove duplicates from playing now' feature.

What I want to do is select all tracks for a particular artist and add them to playing now.  Trouble is that some tracks will appear more than once because they are on several albums.  Is there any way to ensure that tracks with the same [Artist],[Name] only play once?

If not this would be a nice feature.  Currently the duplicates feature in the search bar only allows you to include or not include duplicates according to the rules you set.  So if I were to use this I could have duplicated tracks to play twice (or more) or never but not once.

I too am in great need of the no duplicates function. We have multiple laptops and a desktop picking tracks at the same time (The Media Server Remote is awesome) but we constantly end  up picking dups because none of us bothers to check playing now...

isn't it something like:

or something along those lines?
