Title: Syncing Cover Art Display
Post by: Shasta Mike on September 14, 2016, 01:18:52 pm
I have a view set up that would show a large display of the cover art playing. Now for some reason it started doing a scrolling display of all the albums in that playlist.  See attachment to understand my issue.  I am sure there is a setting for this but after about 4 hours of searching around tools and trying a gazillion different things I am crying uncle.

I just want the large display on the right to show the cover art of the album the song playing on my media player is from and then increment each time a new song plays.

After more messing around, I figured out the problem was that when building the playlist, many cover art jpg files ended up mixed in with the mp3 files. Somehow MC was picking up the jpg files and putting those into a slide show automatically.  Sort of a neat feature if you understand the behavior!  Wow - i have a couple bald spots from pulling my hair out but now I know. And, maybe someone else who struggles with this behavior in the future will find this useful.
