Title: Copy Tags From One File To Another?
Post by: squeedle on September 14, 2016, 08:49:04 pm
I often have multiple versions of a given movie. Up to 5. But even in cases where there are only 2, it would be really nice to be able to copy all the tags from one file to another. Or even to merge two sets of tags. Otherwise it all gets very tedious very quickly.

It would be handy if, for example, I could just drag one file onto the other and a prompt would come up: "merge tags?", or something like that.

Ideally, I'd prefer to have a database of FILMS, and then have my FILM FILES, where I can simply select which film the file belongs to. Then there's just one central record for each film regardless the number of versions.

I'm not sure whether tag pasting works in video, but try copying one with control C and pasting to another with control-shift V.
