I am a regular reader of the boards, I've only made few posts.
It has been mentioned in other threads that MC 9.1 development is wrapping up with a final version coming soon.
There have also been the various messages at the end of different posts about what a good job the development team has done.
I thought that it was important to take a moment to start a new seperate place to acknowledge how great Media Center is and how much I appreciate the responsiveness and support of the development team.
For me, Medial Center has given me something that I have been looking many years for, the ability to have my music be the soundtrack for my life.
I have 2 Sony jukebox cd players connected together to hold my cd collection. They have the ability to delete songs, group cd's, play one while the other loads a disc, etc. Even with all that they never really gave me what I wanted as far as making my music accessible.
With Media Center's endless ability to group music, and play songs based on criteria, I finally have full access to all my music.
Add in photo management, dvd playback and all the rest and you have a truly life-changing application.
So, here I am, standing at my desk, applauding a truly wonderful piece of software and the development team that created it and continues to make it better by listening to the people that us it and love it!
Thank You.
Anyone care to join me in a round of applause?

Here's to a job well done!!

My sentiments entirely.
I trawled the web looking for reviews on this product and to be honest the critics do not seem to be falling over themselves in the race to give praise. One reviewer commented on the 'lack of user support - only a forum' and claimed that it's no substitute for a dedicated support function. Hopefully they'll read this and take note.

Yup. What they all said ::)

MJ/MC is, without a doubt, in the top 3 pieces of software that I own. In terms of filling a certain niche (media playback and organization), it is unparalleled. Until I found MJ/MC, I was using WMP8 to organize my music. Ugh. Tagging was a pain, no organizational abilities, no views, etc... MJ/MC opened up a whole new world of possibilities, and as a result, I have actually gotten more interested in listening to and buying music!
Sure, you'll hear me whine as much as anybody else when I find a bug or have an idea for a feature request, but I see that as the nature of "neo-software-development". Software isn't developed in a vacuum and handed down to the users anymore. In the Internet Era, software is developed with the users' participation, and bug reports and feature requests are integral parts of the developer/user feedback mechanism.

Thanks! What are the other two? I hope they're games.
