Title: Images location question (cannot exclude Windows library)
Post by: audioriver on September 15, 2016, 06:17:52 pm
Hello, I've enabled Image support for the new Extras (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,106819.0.html) feature. I have lots of photos (irrelevant to my MC Audio library) that I don't really want MC to handle. This folder is located in a different drive (F:\My Pictures) and I've designated it in Windows' "Pictures" library (it's the only folder there), so when I click 'Pictures' in Windows' File Explorer, it gets me there.

Back in MC:

Options/File Location/Images=> C:\Users\Name\Pictures (there's nothing there)
Library/Configure auto-import/Media Import: my F:\My Pictures folder is not there, and I also tried adding it in Exclude mode.

The issue: in the main MC window (Images section), if I click on Albums, Dates, Keywords etc. I can see everything that's in F:\My Pictures, as if it had been added to the MC library.

Does MC follow the Windows' Pictures library automatically or am I doing sth. wrong here? Is there a way to prevent this? Thanks.
