Title: Wrong track length
Post by: lawe on September 25, 2016, 11:27:28 am
Hi,
I've had this issue before but I canīt find the topic. However a song is about 4 mins long but it shows as 1 sec long. As I remember the were some tag maybe an Offset or something being present on the file. How can I find this? Iīve checked every tag without success.
Regards Lawe

A few things to try:

Look at the [Playback Range] tag.  It should be empty for most normal files.  If there's something there, it might be causing the length issue.

Try updating the file from it's internal tags with Library Tools > Update Library (from tags) .  This will force MC to re-read all of the internal tags in the file, and maybe make it's length correct again.

Finally, you might look at the [Duration] tag.  You cant edit it, but it should have the actual length of the file in it.

Out of curiosity, which thing fixed it?  I'm guessing updating from tags.  Do I win, do I win?  :)
