Title: Help Needed - Changing default library location
Post by: BD2665 on September 25, 2016, 03:25:08 pm
My 1T hard drive in my laptop is full and I have many more CD's to rip. I have 2 - 4T hard drives for backup and I would like to make one the default location so I can rip the rest of my collection. I have searched but to no avail.
Thanks

You can have files on as many hard disks as you want and you can include any directories and/or drives you want in the Auto Import section so that MC monitors these locations and will pick up new files that you put there.

But you're asking about ripping CDs with MC.  MC's CD ripping location is controlled by:

Tools > Options > File Location > Audio (cd rips and podcasts)

Just fill that out with your new location, restart MC, and you should be good to go.
