As you can see I paid for MJ7 license. And I do indeed use MJ8 daily. I am wondering what difference there is between MC9 & MJ8, features etc. Would like to view a list before trying the MC9 Beta. Thanks.

Before you try MC9, be aware that it IS still pre-release; you can NOT have MC9 AND MJ8 installed on the same machine at the same time; people have had trouble getting MJ8 to work again after having MC9 installed, even after uninstalling MC9.

I don't think that's the case if the version of 8 is current.

Thanks for the info everyone. JimH i viewed the entire doc. Well the big dif I can see is I wouldn't need to constantly dump to my shell. (2xExplorer, via zdnet, really good freeware) At least for my needs. I will give it a try in a few months along with all the major competitors, since there is no upgrade price I am making a whole new purchase. But to be honest I would feel some serious insult paying that much for basicly an upgrade. And to be honest, not all too sexy one either. Transparent interface effects, several obvious mega skins that vary in feel, etc. Glad to see the company evolve, survive etc. But 35 to 40 bucks?

MJ9 should be out soon after MC9 so maybe that price would seem better to you if your interested in Just music with out the TV and Other Video.

Yes! King Sparta that would interest me. Music is my only real need from MJ. I'll check back often to hopefully hear more about that. Thanks.
