I have a large number of songs in playing now (Over 700)
I want to be able to search within just playing now , not my entire collection
Can this be done and how ?
Thank you

I'm pretty sure all there is to it is to click playing now and then up in the right hand corner there is a search box. If I'm wrong I'm sure a guru will be along and let us know....I hope this was helpful, I wouldn't want to be accused of NOT being helpful!....good luck

The search window operates on the current view, so if Playing Now is open, you can search it.

This is all true. It's really useful for refining playing now. For example, say I've got a mix of songs going... 150 of them... and I figure out part way through that Metallica does NOT belong in this mix. But the entire list is shuffled and Metallica is all over the list. What do I do?
Just go to the search box and type Metallica. That shows all of the songs I want to get rid of. Now just highlight them all and press delete. Poof. They disappear from Playing Now, giving me an empty list. Then I clear the search box and see all the rest of Playing Now again, only now there's no Metallica in the mix.
Just one of the many ways that Playing Now is an amazingly superior song queuing system.
