Title: New Laptop
Post by: garysi on October 03, 2016, 09:08:44 pm
I was using a Dell XPS Studio as a playback device with MC22 and DIRAC.  I was using the "Speaker" output and USB from the laptop to my Schitt Bifrost.  With that rig, when I went to sound properties I could adjust the sampling rate in the Advanced tab up to 32bit 192,000(even if I never used it).  With the new laptop in the sound window I get no choice, just 24 bit 48,000.  After I installed Dirac Live Calibration, and the window for the Audio Processor opened, it offered me a choice of Realtek ASIO, o 'Kernel Steaming ( HD Audio Speaker)'.  which if these should I choose.  Also, when I go to use the Live Calibration window it won't let me check off anything but 48 bit sampling rate, all other come up as not supported with this.
