Title: Copy protection questions

Hi

I have anyDVD HD and recently found that a rip of my blu ray orange is the new black made by anyDVD and the mkvs made by makemkv all fail to play - there's 20 or so seconds of sound and the screen stays black and MC seems to lock up. Is this a new copy protection?

Any ideas what might be going on?

In short - no. Never had a problem with MakeMKV. But if I did, I'd give this bit of advice a go:

I know the scenario that the FAQ is written for isn't exactly what you're dealing with but the diagnostic approach should be about the same. You could dig around the MakeMKV forum for further info while you're on the job.
