Title: MC 22.0.32 .TS format issues
Post by: dreed on October 17, 2016, 02:44:09 am
since 22.0.32 playback of .ts files has had a lot of drop outs in the image. Have updated to .34 but issue still persists.
Restored to version before .32 and .ts files playback fine - reapplied update to .34 and error reappears. I see there was a change to .ts files introduced in 22.0.32

Playback is bad in other players as well as MC so the core file is affected.

Changing to .jtv format removes the issue but I need to record in .ts for other reasons.

I am having this problem. Is there a fix for it?

I am working on it.  What type of TV tuners do you have (ATSC, DVB-T, DVB-S, CableCARD, etc.)?

DVB-T tuner in both computers.
Recording in TS format so that I can edit recordings in a 3rd party editor.
Went back through previous recordings and the issue wasn't present in recordings made last November (and December I think). My most recent recording this year is 30 Jan and then last night. Issue is definitely present in those.
I only install the official release versions that come through auto-updates. I have the latest release version 22.0.59.

Today I reverted back to version 22.0.21 and recording is working again. Any recordings done on newer versions are corrupted and un-watchable.
Is there a fix for this yet? It is clearly a problem introduced after 22.0.21.
