Hi
I need to set up port forwarding to two separate devices/servers with their corresponding IP address and access key. How do I do this. Do I need to forward to two ports. If yes i know that 52199 is the default one, which other port I can use for JRiver?
Thanks

In Media Network settings, you can change the port it runs on.

Thanks :) :)

I have a problem that my company's network is blocking 52199. I have to switch my iPhone to cell data for it to work. Does anyone know a good port to change MC to use that will likely make it through a firewall?
Thanks,
David

Thanks, but that's not helpful. There are thousands of ports and I need to find one that won't conflict and is likely to be passed through most firewalls. Has anyone tried changing the port for this purpose?

Try 8081

Or even 8080 :)

Excellent - 8080 works at my office! Thanks all!

Just some background here. Port 80 is reserved for http web services, so most firewalls will tend to let this through. And 8080 is the backup port for http web services, so many firewalls will also let that through too. And if your Lan is not actually using 8080 for backup http web services, there's a good chance you can use it for MC instead..
