Title: library creation
Post by: latinim on October 19, 2016, 04:33:14 pm
there is a strange thing with the creation of the library.
The first installation of the system is that of JRiver going very fast. If I want to re-create the library after having emptied it all it happens with great slowness.
Do you have tips for me?
I use UbuntuStudio 16.04
Thank you
Massimo

When you recreate the library the settings for media network are reset.
This requires the stopping and starting up of media network which in turn requires that all subscribed device events are told bye-bye in a orderly manor which is a pretty slow operation.
