Wheezy i386 http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/test/MediaCenter-22.0.45.deb (http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/test/MediaCenter-22.0.45.deb) (Also in the BETA apt repository)
Wheezy ARM http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/test/MediaCenter-22.0.45-armhf.deb (http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/test/MediaCenter-22.0.45-armhf.deb) (Also in the BETA apt repository)

22.0.45 (12/2/2016)

1. Fixed: Icons on 64 bit x86.
2. Fixed: Cursor hiding was inconsistent.
3. NEW: More OpenGL changes.

22.0.44 (11/28/2016)

1. NEW: Added the Theater View 3D views (Flow/Sheet/Wall)
2. NEW: Implemented a lot of the missing Theater View animations.
3. Changed: Performance improvements for Theater View.

22.0.40 (11/15/2016)

1. NEW: Theater View File Info images and rotation effects.

22.0.37-10 (10/31/2016)

1. Fixed: Many fixes to the OpenGL code for Theater View to fix white screening issues, etc
2. NEW: Multiple monitor support in linux. Need feedback! Fixes Theater View screen flashing, etc.

22.0.37 (10/28/2016)

1. NEW: First crack at Theater View. Requires OpenGL 3.2 and GLX 1.4. Beta Repo only!

22.0.36 (10/21/2016)

1. Fixed: A bug in MCWS track duration reporting caused by the change (21.0.31) which skips over the reading of a mp3 header if the file being played is over the network (but not a stream).
2. Fixed: Internet file playback, if the duration is obtainable from the playback engine instead from the database, use it.
3. Changed: Updated cURL to 7.50.3 to fix a rare internet reader crash.
4. Changed: i386 and arm: Move libraries that had been static into shared libs to help with portability.

22.0.30 (9/23/2016)

1. Fixed: A mp4 tagging bug introduced in 22.0.27 (not released on this platform).
2. Changed: Working on OSD. Removed flickering when in a window. Still needs work on full screen.

22.0.26 (9/16/2016)

1. Fixed: Linux Internet Reader: Seek issues and fix occasional segfaulting when remote zones die or go down unannounced.

22.0.23 (9/9/2016)

1. Fixed: Playing mp4 streams on linux would cause unnecessary re-requests of the file when the input plugin did seeking (very often). This resulted in stuttering playback and lots of unnecessary network traffic. These could be streams from library server, internet streams, streams played with MC as a renderer, etc.
2. Fixed: Linux arm: The internet reader could not do ssl on non-debian wheezy platforms because of changes in gnutls (this prevented licensing from within MC). Using our own libraries instead.

22.0.19 (8/18/2016)

1. NEW: Added three new skins: Modern Cards: Dark, Modern Cards: Grey, and Modern Cards: White.
2. Changed: DLNA. Relax test for DLNA rendering zone device alive status. Will help with buggy renderers.
3. Fixed: DLNA. Volume leveling was coming on by default if the material to be played was being converted. (from 22.0.17).

22.0.15 (8/5/2016)

Changes from the main build (see the windows changelog)

22.0.12 (7/26/2016)

1. NEW: Sox resampler added.
2. Changed: The window hinting changes from 21.0.90 added.

22.0.8 (7/15/2016)

1. NEW: Initial MC22 linux build.

This is a really early build desiring your feedback.

It's only been tested on hardware accelerated OpenGL 3.2 on debian Jessie.
It probably will only work on single monitor systems.

If you want to try the i386 build it's in the repo too and here:

Aces!  Installing now.  Can the server serve views to clients as on windows?  Just wanted to make sure before fiddling with my server.  EDIT: answered my own question, inheritance seems to work fine.

I provided some feedback over in the other thread.

There's an extra http:// in Bob's link.  Remove it and it should work.

On Tumbleweed here, old AMD Turks, mesa GIT master, kernel GIT master.  Works!  Not snappy and I have to disable the compositor in KDE (maybe an issue with mesa), but it's not crashed yet.  Multi-mon is a no go, but I'm gonna try a later QT version to see if that helps.

Great work.

Thanks for the report. Can you elaborate on the multi-mon is a no-go?

Sorry, yeah.  I get a flashing screens, though not synced, appears to be related to Kwin (kde compositor/win manager) and mesa maybe.  I've tried with compositor disabled as well.

So, for example, on the second screen where the TV is running, anytime I click a control or move with the up/down arrow, it flashes/flickers.

Edit:  Double drats.  Tried going back to mesa 12.0.1 and now x64 is segfaulting right at startup.  I just cannot get x64 version to run reliably on this machine.  So, I'll just wait for a i386....  :(

A known issue with the OpenGL builds is that screen movement is flakey again on some desktops. Looking into it...
The Beta repo also has the arm and i386 builds with OpenGL support.
I know of no ARM linux box with Open GL 3.0 support which is required for Theater View.
