Title: MC22 Will not open

I had a problem with MC22 not playing videos.  I tried to shut down and restart.  Now it will not open.  Im getting a windows prompt "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file"  Then I get a MC22 prompt "unable to register controls.  Please run as a power user"  Any ideas what has happened?

Running MC as an administrator should fix this. You should only need to do this once.

Do you have more than one version of MC installed or have you just upgraded a version?

I tried that.  It didn't work.  I only have one version.

Ah. Have you tried re-installing or de-installing and then re-installing?

Antivirus software can sometimes cause similar problems.
