Title: New user with trial MC22.0.32, Crashes related to library import
Post by: BradJH on November 06, 2016, 10:51:43 am
Ex. Winamp user looking for replacement.  Overall, I like JRiver MC.  Due to Fiio's flaky library software, I have to have my audio files physically organized as well as tag organized.  So, I move things around occasionally on disk.  I'm using the import tool and specifying a specific folder (as little as one album, or a whole group with sub-folders) to update the library.  I've have several MC22 crashes and a PC (Win10) lockup that required a power button reset (task manager wouldn't even work).  Note that these imports are subfolders of my standard folder list that comprises my library.

So this is general feedback re: MC22 stability and also a request for confirmation as to my method of library update procedure.  (And also, should I be using MC22.0.34?)

Thank you for any responses on this post.

I have now cleared the library and rebuilt a new one hopefully eliminating any prior corruption events.
Currently the only library contents is audio files.

Antivirus software can cause similar problems.
