Title: ESC Key problem when editing data fields
Post by: dap on November 16, 2016, 11:50:58 am
Whenever I am editing fields in the database now, if I have entered incorrect data and I want to to bail out and not save the changes, I hit the ESC key and NOW that always saves the data rather than what the esc key is designed to do.

This functionallity changed sometime and it is endlessly frustrating. Used to be ESC bailed out, not saving the changes. The tab key or enter key accepted the changes as entered. So now I see no way to bail out, have to wait for the changes to finish and then undo them.

Anyone have a cure for this behavior?

That problem should be fixed in the latest build.  Please give it a try.

Here's the history:

22.0.35 (10/18/2016)

Fixed: Pressing escape after editing a field in-place accepted the changes instead of discard the changes.
