Title: Can file view be edited to remove playback buttons?

Playing Now --> Player --> the file listing / grid

...can the play button be removed from the "Artist", "Album", and "Genre" columns?
I don't use them, they just take up space, I wish to get rid of them.

yes, if i understand you right.
go to tools>options>general>features>unclick linkable collumns

But I assume you realise that they are NOT playback buttons, right? Click on one from a global view and they might prove useful.
