Title: Removing features such "TV Tuner"?

Is there a way to disable certain items from the tree that will never be used? One of the first reactions a new user has when I set them down in front of MC is "Cool! A TV!". I would like to simply disable it and remove it from the tree for the time being.

While I'm at it, I'll remove "web media" for now until streaming is working fully. I would also like to remove "My computer" for 95% of my usage, and "Go" has definitely gotta go...

Sorry if this has been addressed before or if I am missing something obvious. I didn't find it in my quick searching. It would be nice to trim MC down to the bare essentials.

Yup, agreed.  I don't think this is possible now and, even though this isn't a democracy  ;), this gets my vote.

IIRC it used to be possible in MJ8. Cant remember right now why it was removed. Although its not a big deal for me, Id vote for it.
