I seem to remember (but can't find the thread) that Matt asked, maybe 6-8 months ago, for some feed-back because he wanted to work on improving the zone linking. Any development on this?

They are doing what they can to look into this as far as I know. It's just rather involved, so we need to continue to be patient. But all of us do want it, and the devs do know how poorly the current implementation works in certain circumstances.

I'm ok with being patient. Just needed to know if they're still willing to invest time in this. Thanks for the update.

Yup - Matt recently commented that the current implementation is not great and is thinking about what to do.  No timeframe however.
