Hello Guys,
My nam is Levente from Hungary,
i need your help,
i have a HTPC build for BluRay and for Flac music playback,
Bluray movies paying fine according to the sound source, but when i try to play Flac music files i do not get the real Stereo sound, its either PCM 5.1 mixing or digital surround but no Stereo as it should be,
i tried different settings in Audio option but with no luck,
can anybody please help me with proper settings for Stereo music, also to keep the BluRay playback wich is working fine,
Thank you in advance,
Best regards,
Levente
Merry Christmas to all of you!!

I set up a separate zone for FLAC playback.

Hello mate,
Thx for the reply,
can you explain a bit more in detail how exactly you are doing that?
and are you able to control all this from the remote or you have to switch in the settings something?
Thank you in advance,
regards,
Levente

The following link explains it:

Make sure to enable ZoneSwitch so Media Center automatically changes on the file played.
This allows for different settings for your Flac and video files based on the file type.
If you need more let me know.

Thank you my friend,
i think i understand the zone part,
what settings do you use for stereo in dsp, and in Theatre view how do i switch between zones?
thank you,
Levente

Make an audio and video zone, then configure zoneswitch to switch based on media type, and you're done forever.
It will switch appropriately no matter the view.
As for DSP, it's really subjective to your ears and equipment. I play FLAC files with no output encoding. My amp transcodes to my subwoofer.
Volume leveling and adaptive volume on.
Under effects I like recording studio with subtle enhancement. I don't use the equalizer, but you might.
Your environment and equipment may be better with various settings. Play around with it. Your ears are your ears.
