Title: MC22 on NAS QNAP 251HS+ FLAC to WAV
Post by: PAPETOURNE on December 24, 2016, 11:14:13 am
I just installed JRiver MC onto my NAS QNAP 251HS+ I noticed  that FLAC albums are converted into WAV whereas in the NAS explorer the files are in FLAC. I tried to reconvert them form JRiver option. the conversion failed. someone can explain this ? is this a bug ? or JRiver want to improve the audio ?

MC doesn't convert any files by default.

If you are seeing the files by connecting to a DLNA server through MC, then you'll see them as the server is offering them.

If you are playing then files from MC to a particular DLNA device it may convert them on the fly depending on the settings but it won't touch the original files.
