Title: Can I have two versions on MC installed and active on the same machine?

I am about to install MC 22 on my PC and would like to know if I can keep MC 18 still on on it?

I just want to avoid being without MC18 while I do the upgrade in case there are any problems.

I also assume that I should back up my library before I upgrade.

sure, it is a good idea actually. just don't run them at the same time. also use the most current back up of 18 to intall it in 22 this way most of your settings will carry over along with any play lists...
