Title: Amazon Tap - port forwarding?
Post by: lfquinones on December 26, 2016, 09:09:29 am
I got an Amazon Tap and it was very nice to find out there is a skill to interface with JRiver until I noticed that it asks to configure port forwarding. I have to stop there as this is not something I want to give away.
Does anyone know of any other configuration that we can use for Amazon product? I am only interested in pushing music through it, I dont need voice command. I have my gizmo on iphone to  contol what I want to listen.
Anyone has an idea on how to configure the Alexa so that MC can see it as one more music player?

The Tap is a Bluetooth device.  You could play to it from MC.  You need to choose the Bluetooth device in MC's audio settings.
