I have just started using MC9 and would like to add my previously downloaded cover art to the library. I have 3100 albums in the artist\album\track#-trackname.wav format. In each album directory I have a cover.jpg file. I have imported these into the library and can view them as images but I'd like to make them the default cover art. I can do this manually but is there a way to automate the process?
Thanks
Eric

Select some files, then go to Tools/Cover Art and choose Quick Find In File/Cover Art Directory.
You can also do this from the Tools menu on the Image pane in the Properties window.

If no cover art is available - what is the "standard" for scanning cover art
Size/DPI/Color Res/format/etc.... What does everyone recommend?

not available I recommend downloading King's plugin - Cover Art finder - it finds covers for nearly ALL my songs.
Otherwise if you have to scan then I'd recommend jpg - original size (12cmx12cm I think it is) - 85% quality.
Should be fine for most uses :)

I recommend downloading King's plugin - Cover Art finder

Dont listen to King - he's prejudiced - he knows he's the king of plugin's.
Between King and MC we get the BEST most complete db's in the world.
