Title: MC18 to MC22 upgrade problem
Post by: Zekeman on December 31, 2016, 11:00:30 pm
I have been using MC 18 for awhile and decided to download 22 tonight (on a whim...please shoot me)...I cannot even get it to upload music from my hard drive!  ....its appearance is terrible as well (i like the dark background...).  I want to go back to using 18 so someone please tell me how I can get my $26 refunded.

Thank you!

Because we offer a 30 day trial, we don't offer refunds.

You can change skins under the View menu.

You can tell MC what folders you want to import.  Tools > Import and then add or remove folders.  Edit to set the filetypes you want.

You could probably also just restore an MC18 backup in MC22.  MC makes automatic backups.

What business does not give refunds?  ...After literally minutes of downloading and paying for the product?

Why does the application show "Media jukebox 8.0" when its supposed to be 22?  Is the logo icon supposed to be some crude-looking jukebox as opposed to the great-looking blue and gray play button graphic in version 18?  Something is definitely not right here.

Can the appearance color be changed to the dark screen type that I prefer?

When I attempt to import why does it not import FLAC?

This is what my application looks like...this can't be correct.

I got 22 to download properly.  How do I get my JRemote iphone app to connect to 22?

Thanks

There is a JRemote thread on the Remotes board here.

The wiki has a topic on Media Network.  You need to turn on Media Network so it generates an Access Key, then enter it in JRemote.

Got it. I believe I'm up and running. All I need to do is uninstall MC18.
