if i then delete updated tag info with itunes media center does not update
help ?
-
Did you update library from tags?
-
yep
tried that
did not help
-
Like a doctor, my answer is, "if that hurts or doesn't work, stop doing it." :)
Seriously, MC is a fantastic tagging program. Why not just tag with MC?
Brian.
-
good point but
jriver recently made tagging more awkward and no explanation i have seen explains why
i use version 20.0.132 for tagging
MUCH BETTER ?
-
If you have a problem with JRiver's tagging, please describe it.
-
i have previously and was told to live with it -
on 23 july 2016
"The problem was that an accidental tag or deletion of all files in a view was possible."
in all my years as a customer i never had any situation where i could delete something when tagging
i still wonder who, when and how
-
I think the only change that would matter is that you must first select before you delete or tag. Sorry if that's disagreeable for you.
-
the only time it is a problem is when you want to tag multiple albums at the same time which on reflection doesn't happen all that much.
there are far more important things to worry about such as - the fact that at 10.30 pm it is still 83 degrees fahrenheit and maximum tomorrow 100 degrees
regards and thanks for what is a great product
-
Thanks. You probably know you can select multiple albums with ctrl-click.
Sorry about the heat. It's -14F in Minneapolis this morning. Luckily, I'm not there. I'm waiting until it's 20F.
