Title: Failed to open or parse file. (hr=0x80004005)

I'm using Media Center version 22.0.54 for Windows.
When I'm trying to play some (not all) video files, the error occurs: Failed to open or parse file.  (hr=0x80004005). The same files are correctly played in other software (PowerDVD 16 for example). I have tried to reconfigure MC (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Troubleshooting_Video_Options). No results. Please help resolve my problem.

I have THE same issue, did you find a solution?

Antivirus software could do that.

What version of MC are you using?

Did you try both Red October Standard and HQ?
