This was working for a long time but broke recently. Gizmo connects as expected at home. I have port forwarding configured on my router and I can reach Panel by navigating to {my public ip}:52199, so I know that's working.
On the client I see it trying to connect to my private IP and then as it retries I can see that it tries the public IP but it fails so quickly that you can't even see the public IP. Any ideas for me? This is driving me nuts.

I may have an update on this. My public IP has a DNS PTR record associated with my ISP (a.b.c.d.ctcweb.net). But there is no DNS A record resolving that name to my public IP. Does Gizmo perform a reverse DNS lookup on the public IP and rely on the A record to connect?
