Title: Main window-can't move /minimize
Post by: harry871 on February 09, 2017, 11:17:51 am
Hello
I'm using Mac Sierra and I have the problem with the main window - not able to move it or minimize it. I don't think this is normal. Please advice.

regards

Harry

I have OSX Sierra and MC22.0.43.  I'm able to move the window, resize it, and minimize it.  Though, honestly, I never do any of those things.  I run it maximized all the time and just switch to other programs when I want to use them.

I'm not sure how to help you.  What configuration is your window "stuck" in?  Maybe post a screen shot?

Brian.

thank you for the reply. The problem was fixed by itself. I have the impression that there are few bugs. Now I have another problem: The volume control doesn't work-I have always a constant volume no matter i turn-up or turn-down the volume. I didn't find any topic about that issue in the help section. Could you help me, please

best regards

You probably have the Volume mode set to Disabled.

Tools > Options > Audio > Volume > Volume Mode > (I recommend Internal Volume)

Also, notice the volume slider on the MC window underneath the play controls.  If your volume keys don't work, try the slider.  If the slider doesn't move, Volume Mode is probably disabled.

You *might* need to restart MC after making a Volume Mode change.

Good luck.
