Is there an audible difference between "digital error correction" and "digital secure" on ordinary CDs (i.e.- non-trashed media with normal light scratches and wear)?

99.5% of the time, no, probably not.

Since "digital error correction" is decoding the Reed-Soloman forward error correction and presumably fixing errors, what is "digital secure" doing differently with its twice read blocks?
