Hello,
I have 5 HDs connected via a USB 3 hub. The PC is running Windows 7, 32 bit, Italian edition. It is fully updated/patched.
Are 3 days that I am trying to have MC 22.0.77 and the previous release running. No way, always crashes during HDs scans/library import.
Attached is the screenshot of the problem (same old problem I had also when evaluated MC ver 17 ... years ago)
Looking forward
Regards
Andrea

It may be crashing on a problem file. Turn on logging (under Help) and after it crashes, read the previous log. The bad file should be near the bottom of the log.
If you find a bad file, try renaming it. We would like to see it.

After I posted, I noticed that you have five drives on a USB 3.0 hub. That could be the problem. I would not recommend doing that. Is the hub powered?
Try plugging a drive or two in directly (no hub).

Hello JimH, the USB 3 hub is NOT powering the HDs. They have own power supply.
I am going to enable logging and run a new scan.
I will update you asap.
Thanks and regards

Hello JimH, I got the log.txt: it is over 1GB in size!
I tried to read it but... too long for notepad, np++ and with type it takes days to reach the end.
I zipped it and it is just 37MB.
How can I provide you?
Kind regards
Andrea
