Title: MC not communicating properly with pre-pro
Post by: macdonjh on March 27, 2017, 10:23:38 pm
A few weeks ago I noticed that MC isn't telling my pre-pro which audio type to use, my pre-pro always defaults to Neo 6.  Even when playing a stereo track.  MC used to send coding information to my pre-pro but now I have to manually set the pre-pro.  Is there a software switch somewhere that could have gotten corrupted?  In DSP somewhere?  Audio output?

Can you provide a little more information on the problem?  What format are your source files in?  Do you have bitstreaming selected or any DSP output format options selected?

John,

All stereo tracks are ripped in .wav.

Multi-channel sound tracks are a mish-mash of Dolby digital, DTS, etc.

In DSP studio, I am currently set for no output encoding and Stereo output.  I am also set for bitstreaming via HDMI.
