the path is : M:\Download\FLAC\Gregory Porter\Issues Of Life Features And Remixes
If i rename it to

don't forget the path does not stop at the end of the folder name.
-
hi, yes i know.. but including the longest file in that folder i count 135 characters .. still not that long ...
M:\Download\FLAC\Gregory Porter\Issues Of Life Features And Remixes\08-gregory_porter-she_danced_across_the_floor_(automart_remix).flac
So any clues ?

Hidden files?
-
It's possible that you imported this folder previously, then removed it from MC. By default, MC skips files that were previously deleted.

Hi, no hidden or system files.
If i name the folder : M:\Download\FLAC\Gregory Porter\Issues Of Life Features And Remixes
It wont import the files
If i name the folder : M:\Download\FLAC\Gregory Porter\Issues Of Life Features And 1234567
So same length .. It will import the files .....
pretty strange

File > Options... > Library & Folders > click Configure auto-import... then uncheck the box Ignore files previously removed from library. Run the import and see if it imports now.

Hi, i already tested that without any result. Now i renamed the folder to .......1 (addinf just a 1 at the end of the name - so in fact changing the name ) and it now seems to fix the data in the library
Imported 0 new files.
Fixed 13 broken links. (12 fixed, 1 removed)
Updated 12 files that had external changes.
cant really get my grip on this and wondering what other files i miss ..

What happens if you now remove the 'ending' 1 and rename the folder back to its original name?

not sure what happened but now everything and several other files have been imported..
