Title: My Mac won't stream from J River

Weird one this.  My MacAir will stream to my Arcam rDAC from Itunes via core audio, but when I try and stream the same files from J River I get an error message saying the 'core audio' won't accept the format.  The same files will stream from JRiver, via core audio, to my B&W T7 via BlueTooth.  Anyone else come across this strange combo?
