How did you rip you vid-discs? What software did you use and what format did you rip them to?

You could always upload a log file and that will enable some focussed feedback.

I routinely use MakeMKV for ripping vid-discs and it works a treat.

Hello Astromo,

Thank you for your help. 90% I have used DVDfab and also I used JRiver !! All are in ISO format. The thing is, they were all working fine, no problem at all, now, after the new version updated, started this issue.....

You mention about a log file....can you help !?!?!

Thank you !

The error message you are getting doesn't seem to suggest the problem is with copy protection - but I'll mention this anyways...

Are you are not removing the Copy protection when you rip the movie, you need to have a program like AnyDVD HD running in the background to remove CP  during playback. If your using JRiver to rip, then you are not removing the CP.

DVDFab, AnyDVD HD, and MakeMKV can remove the copy protection (or it can leave it intact on an ISO, depending on what settings you select). So if you rip to ISO without removing copy protection you need to have AnyDVD HD running.

Is this system connected to the Internet?  It looks like MC can't download the components it needs based on your second screen shot.

Hello guys,

Out of the blue, things start to play again ! Now I can play all my DVD's and BLU-RAY's......you guys think that could have been my internet connection problem !?!? Since I live in China, the connection here is not stable.

Any way, thank you all for the help and hints regarding programs to rip.
