Title: Problem with upgrade to 22
Post by: neolith on April 05, 2017, 04:46:09 pm
Currently using MC20 on Ubuntu 16.04. I tried upgrading a trial version of MC22. The library from MC20 did not convert correctly (missing image files). I tried a few things and gave up and uninstalled the MC22 version and the associated folders.
Today I thought I give it another try (only 5 days later) and got message that the trial period had expired. Clicked on extended trial and got the key which I copied-pasted. The key did not work and now the message say "expired".
I don't want to purchase a license unless I can fully evaluate. Any suggestions?

Sadly, the only way around the expiration of a trial (and extended trial) is to reinstall the whole OS and try again. I think it's a known issue that extended trial doesn't work correctly on Linux, if I recall correctly.
