meet the new member of our family

His name is "Major", But I Call Him "Little Boy"

He Is A Rescue Dog, And About 5 Years Old, And He Is The Cutest Thing.

Yes, Chihuahua

I had two dogs Die within months of each other (they were the same age, about 11 years old).

when this little boy was taken by animal control the owners had duct taped his mouth closed so he would not bark.

I am spoiling him.

Wow. No criminal charges against former owners?

Well done in taking on a five year old rescue.

I'm at the opposite side of that process right now. My ex-partner, who wanted our dogs originally rather than me, now says after four months that she can't keep them. So I am having to decide if I can keep them and give them a good home by myself, or we will have to rehome them. They are also five years old. Very difficult decision, because work is likely to have me away a lot, or even relocating elsewhere. Plus I love the dogs, but I want from freedom!

Life; It's what happens to you while you make other plans.  :(

King,

I'm really glad you've got a new companion.  I'm frequently amazed at how intense the connection between people and their dogs is.  In a great way.  Here's hoping you love your new buddy.  :)
