Title: Haven't updated since 22.0.54 -- should I?
Post by: gd0 on April 14, 2017, 10:42:04 pm
Hi.

I've been happy with JRiver for roughly a year. All I ever use it for is playing music files from local hard-wired HDDs.

I've recently gotten occasional prompts to update upon launching; I've been ignoring them. But I did take a look today, and found out I have skipped several. I think I've updated maybe once before, with no issue, and can do so again if needed. (I understand the difference between a free update and a paid upgrade.)

1. Is an update worth doing for someone like me who uses JR for basically one thing, as described?

2. If I update directly to 22.0.93, will it pick up the others I've skipped since 22.0.54?

Thanks in advance.

You can just download and install it.  Here's how updates work:

Thanks JimH

Done. Updated stable version. All's well.
