Is it possible to play the whole library? And if so, can I use the auto import funtion for it?
-
Not sure what you mean
You can certainly play all the library - is everything already imported in MC?
-
Everything is imported in MC.
My Denon AVR-X1300W can only play playlists. So I want to make from my libray a playlist. But with the auto import function.
-
Have a look at the play with Play Doctor function. It creates a dynamic playlist based on the first track you select.
Ps I don't understand what you mean about your "Denon can only play playlists". You should just use MC to push your music to the Denon..
-
I like to play the whole library random. Of course I can play music with my Denon song by song, but if I want to play a whole list, than I have to choose a playlist. I can't choose a library. But I must be sure that the auto import function works for playlists.
-
sorry, but i can't understand what the auto import function has to do with anything
make a playlist with the rule: Media Type is Audio
all of your music will appear. push shuffle. use the playlist wherever. when you push shuffle again, it'll be like a new playlist next time.

My library change from time to time and with auto import my playlist will change too.

With this function I only get a list of 100 songs, I need much more. But if I can make the playlist on this way, than the question is the same: can it work with auto import?

make a "smartlist", not a "playlist". There is no track limit
every time the smartlist is closed and opened in MC, it will have all the newly imported audio inside.
you cannot 'refresh' a list using your Denon, you need to open it in MC proper.

I don't remember a track limit. can you refresh me on the limit. thanks
-
Under Audio, click on the first item, then Edit > Select All, then press Play.
-
There is no track limit IIRC but a playlist is static unlike a smartlist
