Title: Best way to re-install?

Had a computer problem with some corruption. I'd like to re-install JRiver MC. (It currently runs but crashes after a bit, and other apps have behaved similarly until I've done a re-install).
Anyway, is there some preferred way to re-install over my current installation?
I have library backups.
I'm on the current stable release (.88, I think).

Thanks, that's what I figured, but I like the confirmation.
Seems to have installed fine. Now, I'll test it by playing.
