Title: Context Menu Shell Extension still a problem in MC 22 on Windows 10?
Post by: Misterboy on April 18, 2017, 10:26:42 pm
I recently found a bug in MC 21 with its Context Menu Shell Extension.

After a forum search, I discovered that another user discovered the same problem in MC 20.

Has this problem been resolved in v22?  It worries me greatly that this kind of thing has been around since at least MC 20.

Here's my post:

And the post regarding MC 20:

It is always possible that there is a bug, but this feature gets used a lot and we don't have many problems with it.  I realize that's not much help to you.

When I last tested this some time ago (MC21 era, perhaps?) it did still exist and it should be pretty easy to reproduce.

When I get some time, I'll try to reproduce it again with the latest MC22 build, and post the exact steps needed to reproduce the issue.

The MC context menu works fine.

The problem (as my linked post points out) is that it breaks OTHER Windows context menus.
