Title: REQ: Change in how volume control works...
Post by: C.A.T. on July 12, 2003, 11:53:19 am
Could the developers change the MC9 so that the volume control in the program does not change the entire system volume?
Rather I think it would be better to have it so that the volume adjustment in MC9 changes the "wave" volume only.
Other media programs that I have (Windows Media Player and Real One) do this.  Ya, I know, I hate to compare the likes of such software to a champion like j.river MC9, but this is one aspect that I would like to see the same as the others as it makes for easier sound management in my volume control, especially with other user accounts in mind.

Running Windows XP Pro OS

Let me know if I am off the wall on this :)

There's been a few threads recently discussing the pros and cons of your suggestion. A quick search of the forum should probably find them.
