Hi there,
why are there so many versions of the same satellite in the mc2xml windows (e.g. Astra 19,2° is mentioned several times (and all have different results when selected).
Why do I only get 400 channels when the fetched m3u has >600 channels?
Thanks.

mc2xml is a third-party software. We do not know its inner workings.

As for the number of channels, I don't quite understand what you are saying. Does MC only get 400 channels during the channel scan process? We scan every channel line in the m3u file.

>600 channels are found in the m3u file but only 400 are mapped in the mc2xml process. also: is it possible to use more than one instance of mc2xml in the "schedule guide reloading" window? I tried by hitting "add" and selecting mc2xml again but under "Provider Token" there is no entry.

Do you find the entry if you try manually map a channel? If not, then it is an mc2xml issue and we have no control. If you do find it in when doing a manual map, then it is just an issue of finding matches.
"Provider token" is a user designated string. You can just type it yourself.

But I already typed it in on initial setup and selected it on the first run of mc2xml?! Regarding the manual mapping: I need to check this.

I am assuming that you need to run multiple instances of mc2xml in order to get different "line-up" selection from the program. You can give each instance an unique "Provider Token".

Hm, I typed in myprovidertoken_2 in the field but it doesn't seem to work. Now the mc2xml window pops up all the time..aaand it crashed. EDIT: when deselecting the first instance it does not crash.

Hm weird, the channel missing is not in the m3u, so no wonder it's not in MC. I don't know why, I started a new scan on the OctopusNET now.
EDIT: in the meantime I manually added the channel and it works.
