Title: Flac files converted to MP3 on Oppo 203
Post by: moe14 on May 04, 2017, 09:13:21 am
Hello,

I have MC22 setup on my macbook pro. I have a folder with FLAC files and it is recognized properly by MC22 when I view the files on the MacBook pro.

Problem starts when I go to the Opposite 203 and run the DLNA server. I noticed that the files are covered to .mp3 at 320 kbps bit rate. The files play but not with the much higher flac bit rate.

Under Options->Media Network, I have Audio Conversion set to "Don't convert audio" and Encoder set to "PCM 24 bit".

Not sure if this is a limitation of the Oppo DLNA or pilot error on my part with the MC22 setup.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Maurice

I found the solution to my problem in this forum. I had to go to Tools > Options > Media Network > Add or configure DLNA servers > (select) > Audio > format and set Mode to "Original".

I had the same problem. I was going to try to figure it out when I saw your post.

Problem solved. Thanks...
