Title: Upgraded to v22 Can I uninstall v21?
Post by: CallMeSteven on May 09, 2017, 03:13:51 am
Just upgraded to v22, but I see version 21 is still in my programs folder, can this now be un-installed?

Also, it is possible to install a second portable version of the program on another drive to backup all my settings?

Thanks

Steven

If you've migrated all your settings over to MC22 and you don't need MC21 anymore, yes, you can uninstall it.

Thanks - can you also answer my second question?

There's really no need to install a portable version on another drive to backup your settings. You can set it up to either make manual backups or automatic backups into a folder on another drive automatically (this is what I do).
